bio

1968 thru 1970 I attended Indiana State University in Terre Haute, Indiana on one of seven national full art scholarships. While there my paintings toured college campuses in the United States.

During 1970 thru 1972 I attended Washington University in St. Louis BFA program with special interest in teaching on the university level. I was also employed as an illustrator for the St. Louis Zoo. My last year at Washington University I was offered admission into the New York College of Ceramics ‘Alfred’ MFA program in Alfred, New York. Due to personal reasons, I was forced to decline.

I relocated to Ft. Lauderdale at that time and opened my first studio/workshop. Later while with the Art Department at Nova University/B.C.S.S., I taught Ceramics for High School and Grade School teachers.

Currently I summer in Buena Vista, Colorado working in my studio, primarily in multi media. Winters I spend on my sailboat painting plein aire and portraits.
